Services
I teach the following subjects to students in Y4 and upwards:
Verbal Reasoning - Non-Verbal Reasoning - English - Maths - Latin - Greek - History - Theology, Philosophy and Religion.
School admissions
I prepare students for all aspects of school admissions, from the ISEB Pre-Test, to 11+, 13+, Common Entrance and 16+ stages. I teach all required subjects and also prepare students for interviews and assessment days.
University admissions
I also help with the university admissions process from choosing an appropriate course, university and college, through to offering support when drafting personal statements and interview practice.
Subject specific
I offer extra support for those studying for Common Entrance, GCSEs, IB and A-Levels in all subjects as above. I also offer general support in subjects, particularly to those for whom English is an additional language.
Fees
Initial Assessment
£150
With all new students, I begin by conducting an initial assessment, where I identify areas of weakness to work on in the future. I then write up a report with some recommendations to meet the client's goals.
Hourly Tuition
£95 an hour
Most clients have between 2-3 hours a week depending on need. I teach mostly online but do have some limited availability for in-person lessons. Online lessons are interactive and feedback is provided after each lesson.
Residential Placements
Price on request
I can provide short, 1-week placements for those revising for exams through to longer 2-month placements for those who need intensive tuition or homeschooling.
Group courses
£250 for 8 hours
From time to time I run revision courses for between 5-10 students. I have previously taught an 11+ Maths course; a Common Entrance Maths course and a History course.
