About Me.

I was inspired to go into education by the inspirational teachers I was lucky to have at my own school. I began my career, after graduating in 2015, as a Classics teacher in a leading UK boys' school, where I helped 100% of my A-Level class to obtain places at Oxford or Cambridge. The satisfaction of seeing my students achieve their goal is something I found very rewarding.

My first experience of tutoring was for an exceptionally-bright, state school student who was applying (in the end, successfully) for a King's Scholarship at Eton but had not previously studied Latin. It was extraordinary to see what a difference one-to-one tuition could make compared to a regular, classroom environment. After this, I began tutoring mostly Classics, English and Maths for GCSEs and A-Levels.

Since 2018, I have been focusing mostly on school admissions and have successfully prepared hundreds of students for admission to top UK day and boarding schools. I now specialise in working with a wide range of international clients online, making lessons as interactive and motivational as possible.
